Why is the web page image jumbled?
Browsers are very individual in how they interprate html (the language that describes the web page). Although I made a huge effort to make this site viewable by most of the browsers, the sad truth is that it is best viewed by Firefox and Internet Explorer v. 5x-6.0. Certain browsers may jumble the page. If this is the case, try using another browser if you have more than one on your computer or upgrade to the current version. You might also consider downloading the latest version of Firefox . It is a far more secure browser than Explorer and it's free.
Can I print the articles without all the menu bars showing up?
Yes. To the right of the article title is an icon with a printer graphic on it. Click on this and a new window with a printer friendly page will open. Next click on the printer icon located in the upper righthand corner of the new window to print. If you click on your browser print button the original web page, menus included, will print.
You mention your genealogy research - why isnt it included on the web site?
It will be. This site is still in the startup stage. I will be testing it for a month or so before I will attempt the monumental task of converting my information to web format.
What does flotsam mean?
For our purposes: "The wreckage of a ship or its cargo found floating on or washed up by the sea."
Why don't you have an e-mail address posted?
I did that once on a website and I'm still getting bucket loads of spam a day even though the site gets almost no traffic. You can thank the spammers for the form method of communication. I am happy to give my address to anyone directly.
